This special showcase brings together an extraordinary lineup of award-winning quartets, representing years of musical excellence, friendship, and championship tradition in the Evergreen District and beyond. From thrilling, ringing chords to heartfelt ballads and crowd-pleasing entertainment, this is barbershop at its absolute finest.

Adding even more power and excitement to the night, the QCED Chorus will take the stage, filling the hall with the rich, full sound that only a great chorus can deliver.

And we are especially honored to welcome our featured special guests, the incredible 2008 International Champions OC Times, one of the most celebrated quartets in barbershop today. Their artistry, energy, and vocal brilliance make this a rare opportunity to experience championship harmony up close.

What exactly is barbershop quartet singing?

Barbershop quartet singing is a style of a cappella singing built on four voice parts—tenor, lead, baritone, and bass—focused on close harmony, ringing chords, and that signature “lock and ring” sound.

HOW DO I GET TO THE VENUE?

The venue is called Yellowstone Event Center, located at Scimitar Ridge Ranch. @ 7333 Miller Rd, Anacortes, WA 98221

From I-5 in Burlington, WA, take Highway 20 west towards Anacortes, WA. About 10 miles later, follow the signs through the roundabout to continue on Hwy-20 West towards Oak Harbor/Pt Townsend. At the next roundabout, take the 1st right onto Miller Rd. Look for Pioneer Trails RV Park, the gravel driveway to the property is just past the RV Park on the right hand side. Look for signs, and follow the road up.

Be cautious, as the road becomes a one-way road about halfway up. Please drive slowly and carefully.

Should I carpool?

ABSOLUTELY! Please carpool with friends/family to help us limit the parking needs.

While there is sufficient parking available on site, this includes some lots that are quite a walk away from the venue, and we’d prefer to not have people walking a long distance.

WHAT is included with the vip seating and afterglow Show package?

The VIP Package is a must have, and is limited to the first 50 people.

VIP preferred seating in the first few rows of the venue to put you right in front of the sound.

Along with VIP preferred seating, you will also be welcomed at the show afterglow, held at the Scimitar Ridge Mansion, just up the hill from the show venue.

This will take place from approximately 9pm until midnight.

Enjoy appetizers, hosted bar, meet and greets, late night tagging, and additional performances on the mansion stage.

And don’t forget to bring your swimsuit if you want to swim.

WHAT is parking like at the venue?

Parking will be limited, and we ask that you carpool wherever possible. There will be about 250 guests, and only about 100 parking spaces.

Is there handicap access?

Yes, Yellowstone Event Center is handicap accessible, and there will be parking available immediately next to the building for limited mobility considerations.

How long is the show?

We anticipate the show length to be approximately 2 hours long

How many quartets will be performing?

11 total quartets will be performing, plus the QCED Invitational Chorus. This includes 4 of the top competing quartets in the Evergreen district, 6 previous year’s champion quartets and the Special Guest OC Times.

Are photos/videos allowed during the show?

Yes, we welcome you to take photos/videos of performances, but ask that you disable flash to avoid distraction.

Is there assigned seating?

We will have specific areas for VIP seating, performer seating, and general seating, however it will be general seating within each of those sections.

What time should I arrive for the show?

Doors will open approximately one hour before the show begins. We recommend arriving AT LEAST 30 minutes before the show start to get parked, and settled prior to the show beginning at 7pm.
